So, I disappeared from blogging for a bit. I knew that was likely to happen. But I'm here now! Today is Friday! One of the things that has been keeping me from my computer is that I've been spending quite a bit of time with my teens. And since it's Friday, it seems entirely appropriate that I talk about game night. Every Friday night from 7-10 p.m., we have game night. The teens bring their friends and we hang out for three hours with ice cream, popcorn, and whatever else might be lying around. It's pretty sweet, actually. Probably at least 1/3 of the crew that attends the game night don't attend the Naz on a regular basis, but several of them have started showing up for our Wednesday night Bible study. The picture below, um, I can't remember the name, but people were shaking hands and dying. And obviously, there was some zombie action going on from some of our dead people. :)
And tonight is extra special, because it's FAMILY game night! We'll see how this works, but the idea is that, on the last Friday night of the month, everyone is invited to come and hang out and play games. Originally, the idea was board games and card games and such but, as you can see, we do have a rather active group. Shuffle Your Buns, anyone?
